You can’t manage what you don’t measure

Averages guess. BaselineRx measures what your soil can actually supply, zone by zone, based on how the soil actually behaves — carbon, structure, nutrient cycling. Each zone gets sampled on its own, not folded into one number for the whole field.

That's your local truth, not a guess. Your fertility plan starts here.

Start every decision from what’s really in your ground

YOUR TRUE STARTING POINT shows what your soil can supply, zone by zone, before you spend a dollar. Not a field average.

ZONE BY ZONE, THE GAP IS CLEAR pinpoints exactly where your soil's supply falls short of what your crop needs, and where it's already covered. Nothing gets treated the same by default.

CONFIDENCE BUILT IN means your fertility plan is grounded in what your soil can actually deliver this year.

Your Field Doesn't Fit a Grid.

A soil sample is only useful when it accurately reflects the area it came from. That's where the difference starts.

The soil in a grid sample doesn't exist. Grid sampling divides your field into equal squares and blends whatever's underneath into one number — different ground, same average. That's not measurement. That's a guess.

BaselineRx

BaselineRx zones your field by how the soil actually behaves — where carbon and nutrient cycling differ. Each zone gets its own sample, tested individually. That's real data, not an average. That's how confident decisions get made.

Soil samples from five zones of the same field

Same Field.
Different Soils.

Pull a sample from each zone and set them side by side — color, texture, structure, all different, even though it's all one field. No blending them into one average. That's what's actually in your field.

Feed The Gap.
Not The Average.

BaselineRx zones show you where carbon and nutrient cycling differ. Indicator Max soil test measures the physical, chemical, and biological properties of each zone, and how they work together to supply nutrients to your crop. That's how you feed the gap, not the average. From there, you build your own local truth that drives a fertility plan shaped around your field.

“From a farmer standpoint, we can’t keep doing the same things we’ve been doing, it’s not working. BaselineRx is a system I truly believe in. My real savings this year with BaselineRx come to about $85 an acre. The numbers are real, and they add up huge. This system gets you actionable data on your soil, so you can be more efficient with your dollars.”

FAQs

BaselineRx is a zone soil sampling and fertility management system that aims to fill the gap between soil supply and crop need, zone by zone instead of field-wide.

BaselineRx zones are built from stable soil features like topography and elevation, soil texture and color, plus how water naturally moves and settles. This is where many zone maps stop. It's where BaselineRx starts.

These visible differences separate the soil into zones that differ in carbon and nutrient cycling, measured with the Indicator Max soil test.

Grid sampling divides your field into equal squares and treats each one as a single number, matched to a target soil test level from a university or standardized recommendation, not your actual field.

BaselineRx zones your field based on stable soil characteristics like soil color, elevation, and water movement. The Indicator Soil Test then shows how well each zone can supply nutrients to the crop, and what might be limiting it. From there, your Ag365 Service Provider or BW Fusion agronomist builds a fertility plan that fills the gap between what your soil can supply and what your crop needs, while balancing agronomics, economics, and logistics.

A standard soil test only focuses on the chemical properties of the soil. But that leads to guesswork.

The Indicator Soil Test measures the chemical, physical, and biological properties of each zone, and how they work together to supply nutrients to the crop. It also shows what may be limiting nutrient availability. We offer two tiers: Indicator Complete, which measures extractable and available nutrients, and Indicator Max, which measures total, extractable, and available nutrients.

Prices will vary for each Agronomy 365 Service Provider and BW Fusion Dealer based on the services they offer and your specific needs.
